Who we are

Five generations of our family have lived, worked, and grown on our Ozark homestead, and the land is very much a part of who we are. The hills, wildflowers, forests, and streams have always felt like home, and over the years they’ve quietly taught us how to listen, harvest with respect, and care for what nature gives in return.

Ozark Witch Hazel Botanicals grew from that love of place and family. What began as simple herbal traditions became a shared craft between mothers, daughters, and grandchildren — learning together, working side by side, and finding joy in creating something honest and useful from the plants around us.

We grow medicinal herbs, tend gardens, wild-harvest from our land with care, and distill many of our own alcohol-free witch hazel hydrosols, along with other hydrosols and essential oils. Many of our products are crafted with nourishing ingredients such as emu oil and fresh goat milk, along with botanicals we either grow ourselves or gather thoughtfully from the Ozarks. Every product we make carries a part of this place and the heart of the hands that crafted it.

With backgrounds in cosmetology, nursing, gardening, and herbal arts, our family combines knowledge with tradition — but everything we create is rooted in something simple: care, intention, and respect for nature.

We believe in thoughtfully made goods, gentle ingredients, and products that feel comforting, beautiful, and connected to the land. Our hydrosols are chosen not just for their fragrance, but for the unique qualities they bring to soaps, skincare, hair care, teas, and remedies. Each item is crafted in small batches, with purpose, and with the hope that it becomes something meaningful in your daily life.

This is more than a business for us.

It’s a living family story, carried forward through gardens, wild plants, children learning beside us, and the quiet magic of the Ozarks we are blessed to call home.
